A practical role shaped by a creative life.

I am a musician, an artist, and a father of three living in Costa Rica. Alongside that life, I have become deeply involved in the process of building homes here: working with architects, builders, craftspeople, suppliers, and clients to turn an idea into something real.

Construction and music may seem like very different worlds, but both depend on listening, timing, collaboration, and an awareness of how many individual parts contribute to the whole.

That way of seeing informs my work. I care about budgets, schedules, materials, and practical solutions, but I also pay attention to proportion, atmosphere, and whether the finished home still feels connected to the original intention.

Building here requires more than a set of plans.

For someone living outside Costa Rica, even ordinary parts of a project can be difficult to manage from a distance. Finding the right people, understanding local practices, following purchases, resolving questions, and knowing what is happening on the ground all require a trusted local presence.

My role is to provide that presence. I represent the client’s interests, maintain communication between the people involved, and help the project move forward with greater clarity and continuity.

I am not the architect, engineer, or specialized builder. I work alongside those professionals, helping connect their expertise with the client’s priorities and with the practical realities of the project.

Attention to both the process and the place.
